2022 Saturday — One Week Till

We are one week away from “Daylight Saving Time.” So as I watched the sun setting into the coastal cloud bank at approximately 6:00 p.m., I pondered the reality that next week we’ll be watching sunset after 7:00 p.m. I like long evenings, so I don’t get as excited about this change as many others I know. At the summit of summer, I feel like it’s bedtime moments after sunset.

We stayed home today and only got the car out of the garage so that Mr. Fun could do some more painting in the garage on the model he is building.

Late in the afternoon I put harnesses and leashes on the two pups and walked them in the very cold wind down the street toward the Cayucos “Super Market.” Walking these two pups is crazy because they go in opposite directions. Chloe is younger than Mitzi and has more energy. But overall it was good to get outside.

And it was good to not go anywhere in the car; when we don’t go anywhere, we don’t spend money. So staying home is relaxing and financially beneficial.
