Sooooooooooo chillaxed.................

What a difference it makes having a gorgeous little collie pup from a weeny teeny little puppy..................

Our 'long time' BLIP followers will know that Ann's previous dog, 'MollyCollie' was a bit neurotic and scared of quite a few things. Having said that; MollyCollie was Ann's first dog and when she passed over the Rainbow Bridge after living with Ann for 14 years she left a huge gap in Ann's life that she never, ever, thought could be filled.

Ann remembers sitting with friends a week or so after she lost MollyCollie and saying, ' I want another dog but I'm never ever going to get another collie because I won't be able to love another Collie as much as I loved MollyCollie. And I'm not going to get a puppy because they're too much like hard work.'

….............A month later she got me..................... a puppy collie. Sometimes fate just interferes.................  And yes she does love me.  And yes I was incredibly hard work when I was a weeny teeny little puppy.

Anyway the reason we're telling you this is because I was only 3 months old when Ann adopted me, so instead of Ann fitting into my life; I've had to fit into hers. Of course it was hard. Ann pretty much had to sacrifice a year of her life to train me to fit into her lifestyle. But, what's one year out of her life when we'll have the rest of our lives together?

I am the most adaptable, chillaxed little collie pup you'd ever wish to meet. Today I went for a very short 'first thing in the morning walk' and then after breakfast we went to 'Squirrel Woods' for an hour and a half and then Ann went out all afternoon (and I was more than happy to stay home alone) and then she  took me for another little walk when she came home. I was more than happy with that.

Sometimes Ann can't believe what a 'perfect pooch' I am. I've eaten half of my dinner and now I'm back in my little bed having another snooze.

Ann says that I really am the bestest little collie pup ever. Apart from my silly 'puppy jumping up'. Apparently I still have to work on that. Grrrrr........

PS - The woods aren't really called 'Squirrel Woods'.  Ann only calls them that because there's so many squirrels there.  Today she counted 22 but then she forgot that she was counting squirrels so actually we haven't a clue how many squirrels live in 'Squirrel Woods'.

All I know is................. Squirrels are the most annoying little creatures ever.  Every time I almost get near to catching one; they run up a tree.  Grrrrrr.................
