A little bit of heaven

We had a short-notice visit this morning from our son and his daughters.  A fry-up lunch preceded a short walk over the hill and down into the secret valley beyond.  There's a shallow stream there, in a deep(ish) gorge which was very attractive to all our visitors.  It's a delightful place, secluded and safe. 

As usual, only one granddaughter would allow photos, but I sneaked another one; and our dear daughter-in-law in Scotland sent a lovely shot of two grandsons, mischievous and enjoying life.
