It was worth the wait!

I have watched and waited for this amaryllis to flower and now it has not one but two flower heads with another two to open and a second stem that is some way off from flowering. They really are amazing plants.

The extra is one of the flowering cherry trees in Queens Park. From a distance you can hardly see the flowers because they are so small but once you get closer the mass of pink blossom just fills the air.
