Hallgrimskirkja

We've been around Reykjavik today as we've been moving hotels so we're now back on our original plan. Unfortunately that means we're now in Reykjavik for our scheduled three days and as you may have seen we've got to know it quite well by now.

Late afternoon we went out for a walk to the city lake, Tjörnin, which translates to 'pond' I believe. It had started to snow so the light wasn't as good as we'd hoped. We walked up to Hallsgrimskirkja and went round to the tradesmen's entrance where I was aware there was an alternative view of the building. My blip is a three shot panorama in portrait aspect.

I'm also adding a few extras from yesterday's visit to Snaefellsnes. The first three are of  Ytri Tunga which is most famous for its seals. The first is of mountains behind and the second is of the seals (mostly common) on the beach there. The third is another of the mountains in that area and the fourth is at Arnarstapi.

Tomorrrow and Sunday are going to be a couple of full on days, I think.
