Mr. Grumpy

A very welcome bright morning, but with a cool breeze - perhaps that was what was making the Robin look so grumpy, though with all his feathers fluffed up I'm sure he was quite cosy. Definite signs of spring all around, with both Blackthorn and Cherry-plum in flower, and the first leaves appearing on Elder and Hawthorn. 

Whatever the state of the world, the seasons come and the seasons go.  After the cold grip of  winter, Spring brings new hope. It's hard to be hopeful right now, but there are glimmers of light in the darkness - so many people in the world coming together to try and rein in the barbaric cabal at the heart of Russia - we must hope that in the end they will prevail.
