Pale

Being aware that today is some kind of red balloon day, I did try to find an interesting blip when I went down to Ocean Terminal but failed miserably - no ships in the Western Harbour at all (apart from the resident Britannia), and scarcely any birds on the WoL apart from a little goldeneye who stayed on the far side of the river and kept diving out of sight (as is his nature!). So I retreated to the house and thought I'd record this lovely hyacinth that Mel gave us before it collapses - it's actually a pale lemon yellow although not terribly obvious from the photo. And scented, though not as powerfully as the blue/pink kind. Variety Yellow Stone.

I suppose it looks a bit like a firework.....
