An Impacting Evening

We had tickets for an unusual show at the Majestic Theater in Dallas. Rob Bell was in town for his ‘Everything is Spiritual’ tour - he’s someone we have a lot of respect for - his perspectives are always fresh and impactful. He did some very interesting things - involving a number of members of the audience that were spontaneously brought up to contribute - for example he asked ‘who is that person who loves stories and likes to write - a woman came up and he handed her a blank book and pen and asked her to write a story about herself - which he read out near the end. He also asked someone with sadness to come up and asked them a number of questions that led them to see the sadness as If it were just a part of everything they were and not the whole picture - focused of the evening was to see ourselves as more than just our physical and mental awareness - a really good evening and still having an impact on how I see things. We also ate out in Dallas at a place called The Meddlesome Moth - Fish and Chips. A good evening out.
