Walkway...

……………………..…under the Trees



These trees provide a magnificent walkway at the entrance to Hanmer. The main road is to the left of the frame and parking to the right. Nearby is the popular thermal pool complex.

We woke to a wet morning so we postponed our trip into Molesworth Station until tomorrow. Instead we spent time in the village and a very pleasant afternoon soaking in the thermal pools - of various temperatures and waters. 

The extra photos show the origin of the naming of the alpine town and a mix from the thermal pools.
