Reflecting on Buddha
I went to the Buddhist temple in Seoul today. This photo was taken from outside the temple looking through the glass at the head of one of the 3 giant Gold Buddha statues. The coloured pattern is a reflection in the glass of coloured paper lanterns which have been strung in rows outside and above my head.
The image lacks a bit of clarity as the glass disrupts the focus on both elements. The head of the Buddha is probably a good 40 feet behind the glass whilst the lanterns would be at least 20 feet in front of the glass, behind and above me.
I thought it turned out to be quite a cool effect.
