Culture with Seoul

Today I'm going to reflect on some of the Culture of Seoul.

Prior to our business meeting today I visited the Deoksugung Palace. A place in the heart of Seoul with historic significance. Beautiful ceremonial buildings positioned in a vastly different surrounding landscape of skyscrapers and next to City Hall. The trees were about to really blossom and it was a shame I missed that timing. This is a heritage site in the heart of Seoul.

In the midst of the threat of thermo nuclear war from North Korea I took a number of photos here but decided to choose this one. It best reflects the colourful people we have met on this trip and the melting pot of cultures and stories we have shared.

We hope that our meetings lead to a symmetry of passion and commitment and so far I believe we have succeeded in demonstrating the value in sharing the depth, strength and significance of both our natural and cultural heritage. Thanks to our Korean friends Beopwa, YS and Ang for your hospitality and encouragement.

With luck we will see you many times again.
