Summer bulbs (Gladioli)

I couldn't go to the allotment today - I had a work meeting in Reading and the rest of the day was really hectic with marking essays and translations, replying to dozens of enquiries and sending quotes, progressing with certified translations, and uploading reports in the system.

This picture is from yesterday. It's nice to know I've got 10 new gladioli bulbs in the soil. Last year was a bit of a disaster - all my plants got eaten by slugs. Hopefully this summer won't be as wet and I'll get a gorgeous display.
