Shhhh

These five were snoozing away in the warm sun this morning. They were strategically positioned in a tree across the street with our front door in full view. As soon as I stepped out the door armed with seeds and nuts at least four eyes monitored my every move. This is the largest group of mourning doves we’ve ever had here, counting over twenty most days • We registered the car, purchased coffee, and filled up the gas tank. Regular gas is up 20 cents per gallon vs. last week, now $3.69. We’ll be monitoring this closely as further increases are expected (and worth it, if this is what it takes) • Lots of mergansers paddling on the river this afternoon • Standing with Ukraine, and the people of Russia. Hoping for Peace but fear it will get much worse this week • Be well and stay safe!
