Living here

Pictured are some local residents as I waited for the mini bus to go in to Didim this afternoon for the next phase in my permanent residence permit application. Next phase? - an interview at the immigration office in Aydin, the capital of this province on Wednesday afternoon.  When I finally have the right to live here permanently (different from citizenship which I don't want),  I will be able to go between Turkey and England whenever I want for as long as I want. 

All done, for now, I then did a little shopping before heading to "My Bar' for a beer until Graham and Kat joined me, whereupon they took me to a local restaurant for dinner that I haven't been to before, "Caspers", which may well be my new favourite place to eat in Didim. 

Weather wise: warm and sunny. Yay.
