Spent a couple of hours up at the allotment, leaving D fretting about the interview - he's in a right old state, poor thing. It was a glorious sunny day, and I noticed the first bee (?) supping on a coltsfoot flower and soaking up the sun. Planted out the red onion sets - maybe a touch early, but fingers crossed. Thought about people gardening in Ukraine - if I was there I'd definitely shove the onion sets in and hope (a) some would come up and (b) I'd be around to eat them. Must remember to grow some sunflowers.
