a shadow of my former self

First bike ride this year.  If you're reading this mollymay, the sun was shining and temperature got up to 7C.  So I couldn't really stay in bed.

There was a time when I was out on the bike every weekend.  And if I go back far enough, training rides after work.  

By the time I get back, Anniemay's got the coffee on: "I heard on the news that Russia's been banned from Swift"  she says.  "Why are they stopping them riding their bikes?"  

She wants me to point out that she was making a joke (Swift/Zwift).  It'll be standup at the pub next.
