Blue skies and blossom lifted the mood on our morning walk. However, thoughts of what’s happening in Ukraine continued to dominate everything.

On our walk we encountered a group of high vis bibbed men tidying the churchyard. As we came closer we could read “Community Pay Back” on their bibs. They were all repaying their debt to society through unpaid work.

Hopes of a Scottish win at Murrayfield this afternoon were dashed by a dazzling French team. They march on now towards a 2022 Grand Slam.
