A foray out of the Cotswolds today.
First stop here in York. Our ‘drive’ was delayed, ironically, by heavy traffic heading for a golf show at the NEC. Evensong in The Minster. A peaceful musical punctuation mark in the frenetic tourist hotspot that is York Minster. Choir, Dean and congregation of some 50 in an otherwise empty Minster. A walk around the sights of this photogenic city before a meal just off The Shambles.
