Drama
Bit of a drama last night. Archie seems to have a return of his ‘petit mal’ seizures. He had a spate of them ages ago, where he would sit with his nose up in the air, tipping right back, and sniffing frantically, while being unresponsive to our voices. He has been doing this on and off all day, and a few times the day before. But at night it got worse - he was frantically running up and down the hallway, then crouching in a corner, sniffing the air. He would not rest in bed, and was impossible to hold, so we put on his harness, and indeed his lead, so he really had to just lie down and stay there. We still had some pills from last time, so we gave him one, and he did settle down and sleep soundly all night, thank goodness. He’s done it a few times today, so fingers crossed for tonight.
JR took him out for a walk in the afternoon while I watched the rugby. There must have been thousands of French people at Murrayfield, because ‘The Marseillaise’ was resounding round the stadium as they, er, thrashed Scotland. The Wales/England game was great too.
I shall continue with Series Two of Peaky Blinders tonight, on the iPad, with my ear pods, while JR watches ‘Inventing Anna’ on Netflix.
