Arria

Felt like getting away from screens today, even if only for a short trip.
Headed for the wilds of Cumbernauld to have a close up look at the Arria sculpture, which I've clocked many times on the road to sunny Paisley. 
Enjoyed walking round it and having a look, but quickly decided it looked better from afar, even from the road (M80). I admit I didn't know it was created by Andy Scott, he of Kelpies fame. 
It has a dreadfully amateur duct tape repair on her left thigh: the shame!
Extra is a close up of Arria's bot, not for gratuitous posting reasons (heaven forbid), but it occurred to me that it must take a very specific artistic mindset, and skills set, to create a pert derriere from metal rectangles and rivets. Respect sir.
