Splashing the Cash

In light of the funny turn experienced by HL’s IBook on Thursday, I thought it was time I upgraded my old slow IPad to a Pro so that I wouldn’t be locked out of internet facilities should the funny turn be a precursor of complete death in the near future.

You have to admire the design qualities of Apple packaging. It’s an art form in itself.
Now all that remains for me to do is charge the tablet and set it up. I am full of confidence but I haven’t started yet !

Edinburgh is awash with French today for the rugby match at Murrayfield. Hordes of supporters were swarming up the Royal Mile this morning before 9am and Princes street was a sea of bobble hats in the French colours.

I turned on the TV at 2:15pm to watch the start of the match but turned it off 10 mins later after 2 magnificent French tries. It’s not good for my mental health to watch Scotland being hammered so early in play!
The French boys look awfully big compared to the seemingly puny Scots- maybe it’s just the blue strip compared to the white that adds beef to their frames.

In other matters- the smell of incinerated eggs still lingers……..
