Ssshh, don't tell the birthday boy, but his surprise birthday is tomorrow.

So today was a touristy day.  We headed en-mass down to Venice Beach and it is exactly how I imagined it.  Very bohemium, not stupidly crowded (Beach was actually very pleasantly sparce but the board walk was quite busy) and full of characters.

We took our household in the venga bus and we met up with my cousin and his family.

We skated the the Venice Beach skatepark, dug holes in the sand, visited dispensaries and swam in the Pacific ocean.  A very nice day.
