The council came to take away our old sofa today, thank goodness. Our other sofa and a chair went to a charity shop but the springs had gone on this one so although it seems a terrible waste, the only option was to have it taken to the dump.

Meanwhile, it had sat in front of our garage for several days, much to the joy and comfort of nextdoor's many, many, many cats.
