Between the snow showers

Definitely winter today.
Woke up to a heavy snow shower and about 2cms of snow and wondered about the day's activities but, on consultation with others, decided to go ahead.
There was less snow in the park than here, though the whitest bit seemed to be the all-weather pitches, but the area where we have our cuppa was closed to I was away early. The wind wasn't too strong but was very bitter.
Slightly less people than usual at cafe but plenty of orders, even though we were getting mixed up with the toastie requests.
Back home I've been knitting and doing some preparation for Sunday, and have had a day off running.
