Swiss Garden

we went to a talk today about the Swiss Garden at Old Warden. I hadn't realised that it dates from around 200 years ago, in the regency period. A visitor then noted that her favourite part was the glasshouse and I agree its mine too . I also like the little chapel which is my main blip. Sadly there is little information about the original garden plans , although much of it  was well preserved and renovated by the Shuttleworth family that took over the estate in Victorian times .
