Alpine Cyclamen
Our semi-resident Common Buzzard, Basil, or Basilina if it is female, has frequented the garden today. It flies down to the ground to peck at something, then perches in either of two apple trees, the large pear tree of one of the conifers; it does not seem to like any of the other trees.
Today’s picture is of an Alpine Cyclamen. I am not sure what season it thinks we are in as I seem to think it usually flowers in the autumn.
Noon Today – Twelve degrees Celsius. A mixture today, some rain, some sunshine and some wind.

Update: Looking back over my pictures I can see that I blipped these on this day in 2014; why did I think they flowered in the autumn?
