Purple Crocus

Today’s picture is of some purple crocus flowers blooming in one of our round, front borders. The extra shows the border and some of the flowers therein.
 
The temperature at noon was twelve degree Celsius. It has been overcast all day and raining during the afternoon.

Update: Looking back to the picture I chose on this day last year, it is of the same border as my extra today. Clearly  the flowers were much further forward last year.
