River Clyde

We went down to Strathclyde Park today and, as expected , the Clyde had burst its banks and was overflowing. It actually had receded from its highest point but was still over one of the car parks and past its normal edging tree line.
We also saw a little gull sitting on the grass near the river. It didn’t move as we drew closer so we presumed it wasn’t well. We reported it at the visitor centre. By the time we walked back it had died. Sad.
