Signs of spring

What a lovely day it is today. The first feelings of warmth this year.
I managed to make a start and do a couple of hours tidying in the garden. I need to think about taking down the hawthorn tree,which was showing signs of disease last summer and now has been badly bowed by the snow, but I’m not yet sure what to replace it with. Or even if I should replace it.
In the meantime I can enjoy these flowers which have started to appear.
