Oban: Day 3

Come rain or shine...part 2

We obviously used up our fair share of sunshine yesterday and this was the sight we were greeted with this morning. And it stayed like this for the rest of the day.

Still, it was a brilliant day. Another good breakfast, followed by a quick pack and checking out of the hotel. (We would have squeezed in another visit to the hot tub but it was closed due to a 'chemical imbalance'...does that mean someone had an accident?!)

The Oban Distillery was our point of call today. I'm not a whiskey drinker by any means, but it was an interesting tour all the same. Lunch was another trip to the restaurant from last year...it was that good.

Still raining, it was time to leave. A winding car journey back but with some amazing scenery along the way.
