Rain Rain Rain

Now we have high winds to add to it, storm Franklin (who names these storms).

This is the side of my house it was like a lake.

Barnsdale Road which is the main road into Castleford is closed now due to flooding. It has its own page on facebook and we are kept up to date with whats happening, like the idiots who dont understand Road Closed or those who think their car will make it till the engine gets water in it and it stops. Then they have to be towed out by those who have the right vehicles and probably charge a fee.

Its a flood plane to stop the houses going into Cas. from flooding when the river bursts its banks.

One of the pains of glass in my greenhouse roof got broken with the last storm. Not got it fixed yet and with all todays rain i hate to think what its like in there but its been too wet to bother.

Plus a tree came down on the Health Centre roof so the doctors is closed. It hadn't been moved when i looked earlier today, I can see it from the bedroom window. It was a dead tree and we said more than once it should have been taken down.

Hope you have all been safe over these last few days. It's certainly not been a good weekend for some people.
