Sunday in the City

Awful weather for the third day running.
After the wind and snow, today it was rain.
Undaunted we booked a table at Brasserie Blanc in Leeds.
Had the Sunday Roast with massive Yorkshire puddings (see extra).
Had planned to have a pudding but we’re both outfaced.
Did manage a coffee creme though.
Now back at Elaine’s and the weather is even worse, presume this is Storm Franklin.
Lots of reports about flooding in my village as the River Wharfe has burst it’s banks in several places.
 l expect l am unscathed, l know Heather, my next door neighbour would phone me if there was a problem.
