Up the lane

As a contrast to yesterday, it was grey and miserable most of today. I decided to use the same photo I took yesterday which the observant among you will see that I flipped and added a treatment to it.

We did go out this afternoon - a drive along the back roads into Rothbury which were very flooded with many deep puddles.

We enjoyed a very filling late Sunday lunch at The Three Wheats in Thropton and returned via Rothbury and the longer and less flooded A697 with fab views over the Northumberland National Park.

Now relaxing in The Village Inn in Longfram and a pint of Diet Coke.
