A survivor
The allotment site was scattered with debris from Eunice's efforts yesterday. Shed roofs blown off, a cold frame wedged in an apple tree (see extra), collapsed polytunnels and bits and pieces blown everywhere. I have come off lightly with a few bits blown away that were retrieved easily and just one mesh window blown in on the polytunnel, but in the midst of the clear up, I suddenly spotted that my first daffodil has flowered and survived the storm.
Once the clear up was done, I escaped the rain and sorted some newly arrived dahlias in the shed(second extra). It has made a huge difference having a potting shed to work in when the weather is bad.
