Need A Bath?

There are certain things that are easier to buy in the grocery store than the market. Actually, the list of those things is quite short because the market is amazing and almost everything can be found there if you know where to look. I don't find myself in the supermarket very often. However, it does have an inexpensive yet air-conditioned food court, so students and I will often eat there.

But back to the picture...We are coming up on Thai New Year (April 13-15), so almost everywhere you go you can find statues and figures at a little shrine with a bowl of water. Buddhists will take a scoop of the water and pour it over the statues to make merit for the new year. There is usually a place to donate money to a famous temple or good cause also.
