We headed into town first thing. Matt got a haircut while I grabbed a few things. We went in H&M and unexpectedly both found things we loved.

A quick coffee stop at Playground - we didn’t really have enough time to enjoy it so we’re definitely going back to try the cake and play some board games. We met Wendy on the centre and walked along to New Moon. It was windy and drizzly so we sat inside this time, but the food was just as delicious as last summer. My favourite is still the aubergine rolls filled with tomato and basil mousse (in extras).

Stayed for quite a long time, ate waaaay too much then struggled home feeling very fat.

We managed a little trip to the pub in the evening to see the (extended) gang. Burly sat with his head between us at all times, in case of dropped crumbs.
