Winter Gardens

A chilly day, but flat calm and some lovely sunny spells.  Some light snow showers this evening, and frosty. 

Up early, and got some gardening done.  Out walkies around Scalloway, and then popped in for a cuppa with Madeline.  Mam came over for lunch, and then we headed into Lerwick to fetch Elise from school.  We took Elise out for a run in the car too.  Mam and dad came over this evening for a cuppa, a walk with Sammy too. 

We headed out west, hopeful to see some frogs st the Gairden i Sand ponds, no such luck.  There was a dusting of snow/hail, giving the garden a fine winter garden feel.   Sammy below the cabbage trees (Cordyline Australis), Lower Gairdens, Sand.
