Storm Eunice

As viewed from our front door.
We are hoping that the trees across the road will stay upright and intact. They are mostly poplars though, and they don't look very robust. Perhaps their relative flexibility will help. Compared to areas further south, we are not getting the worst of it. ,
I woke up with the ominous first signs of a migraine. I was due to go to the swimming pool with Ruth, Luca and Eben. Instead, I retreated to bed while Richard picked them up. Ruth took Eben swimming and Richard looked after Luca.
By lunchtime, the resting and some migraine pills had really helped. I got up and we all had lunch together.
A night's sleep should see off the remains of the migraine, I hope.
