Green shoots...

Plenty of green shoots, in our garden and in the park across the road. Despite storms Dudley and Eunice, spring is approaching bit by bit.
No grandchildren today: so Richard and I took it easy really. I burrowed into my photo files, and enjoyed some fairly luxurious hours sifting, deleting and editing. Richard caught up with some Folklore Society business, and also had a marathon cooking session (shepherd's pie).
The snowdrops are from the verge opposite the house, at the bottom of a bank that leads up into our local park. I wanted to get right down to ground level for a different vantage point... but it is a very popular spot for dog-walking, and so reclining in the undergrowth just didn't appeal..
