The day improved as it went on...

The gale force winds died down, and the sun came out!

I took this photo of Cockermouth Castle ( with All Saint's Church spire behind ), at 10am this morning.

Fingers crossed for our friends in Somerset and Cornwall who have a red weather warning for tomorrow! And for our friends in Scotland who might get blizzards!!!
