Tree Graveyard

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

We headed up to Banchory for the night. The Youngest Mini Princess and I tried to take Murphy for a walk in the forest but couldn’t because of the damage caused by Storm Arwen. It looked like giants had used the trees for a game of skittles - so many beautiful majestic trees lying across the forest floor. Murphy was very unimpressed at being unable to being able to get over or under the huge obstacles so he settled for peeing on them!

We went out for dinner in the Banchory Lodge. Albert is finding it tough at the moment as it would have been Penny’s birthday next week and emanates ripples of sadness. Time works very slowly as it heals.
