Best News Ever

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

Victor had another operation on his head today. He had to have more skin removed and a bigger skin graft (this one is from his leg).

We mentioned to Victor on the way to the hospital, that to pass the time, I was joining Mary Doll at her regular coffee and catch up with friends (in a garden centre obviously). “If you’re lucky,” he said wryly, “you’ll get to stir the cauldron”.

When we picked him up, he looked like he’d had a run in with Frankenstein. He has a dressing that looks like a massive compeed plaster* which is stapled to his head.

Despite the day being rubbish for him, his CT scans were all clear and he won’t need any further treatment which is amazing. He has to rest for a few days with nurse Mary Doll looking after him so I look forward to hearing how that goes!
