Reformat Hard Disk?

Desk day which got longer and longer but I disposed of a few niggly emails but it was frustrating that when I had the land line phone in front of me some of the folk I needed to contact were out of reach. I'm going to be on a hill near Cannich tomorrow so what chance will there be of a signal?

I got a quick walk with M and the dogs this morning, then in the evening L and I took Bruce and Caley to Machine Gun Hill. I think L could become a compiler of pub quizzes. Like his wee brother he is an avid reader and walks about with a head full of trivia.

Apparently there are ten human senses but it was Aristotle (the first recognised scientist) who put the idea in circulation that there were just five.

Do you ever get the feeling that you are able to recollect something you were told or read years ago but that little bite of knowledge contributes nothing to your quality of life here and now. What silly song kept Ultravox's Vienna off the number one spot in the eighties? I don't need to know that. At least if its on a hard disk you can delete the rubbish and defrag and you are ready to go again.

At the end of a rubbish office day I sometimes think I need to skip the defrag, just do a full reformat and re-install my operating system.
