Two hearts

Valentine’s Day and mono Monday, although this isn’t for today’s challenge.
Found these two in a little box of bits and pieces.
The larger gold one has on the back, ‘ The Variety Club’. Can’t remember where it came from.
Always liked the Phil Collins song.

Another wet, wet day.
Paid the car tax. So glad it is still only £20.

Then braved the awful weather to drive to M&S. Not very busy as it is a food only shop, and I think the weather has kept customers at home.
Many crowded round the ‘ Valentine’s Day Dine in for two ‘. deal.
However I wanted some duck breasts, but they didn’t have any. So plan B. I bought cod, and salmon trout.
Usually like to do a special meal on Valentine’s Day, and fish pie is MrC’s favourite.
I already had the prawns, and so will make a dill sauce to go with the fish, and then a topping of chunky cube potatoes and cheese.
Served with green beans.
Christmas Pudding and custard for afters.
( Another favourite, and had one left.)
All washed down with a chilled bottle of white Burgundy.
Both looking forward to it !
