Blue Moon
I spent most of Saturday indoors, partly because the weather outside was foul, but mostly because I still had much of a church service to write for Sunday.
However, I had achieved the majority of that particular task by mid-afternoon and a check of the weather app on my phone suggested there would be a weather window some time between 3pm and 4.30pm. So a quick drive down to Bonnybridge was called for, followed by a dash into the shops and a walk around Bonnyfield Local Nature Reserve.
The skies overhead were completely transformed from their earlier state - bright blue with the only clouds sparse, white and distant. The sun was getting a bit low and gave everything a bit of an early evening sheen, and it wasn't overly warm.
A walk was had, a few photos were taken and then it was back home to finish the task for Sunday feeling much more refreshed.
