New Beginnings

My morning stroll around the garden revealed welcome signs of life from snowdrops, and hellebores to this early flowering rhododendron. 
 
And today my new passport arrived.  But will I get to use it this year? From all accounts of friends who have ventured abroad during the pandemic it’s a right hassle. One friend ended up having to stay an extra ten days, at her own expense, when some members of their party developed Covid.
 
But it’s swings and roundabouts though. I have some relatives who returned from the Argentine unscathed on Christmas Eve.
