Afternoon Tea
Knowing that I would be spending the afternoon on the sofa watching rugby, I decided to head off into town in the morning. Not that I wanted anything - I’m not even very good at browsing shops. But I had a wander along George Street, the main shopping street that isn’t Princes Street. But I soon got fed up. Luckily I found a pop up shop (formerly Laura Ashley, I know because I have been in there ages ago) with lots of different people setting out their wares - cards, paintings, scarfs, knitting… And there was a Steampunk coffee shop, which we know from North Berwick. And some groovy big paintings. (Extra)
I then came home, shopped out, having bought nothing but a coffee and a Chocolate Brownie. I arrived home just in time to see JR off into town with Hazel - Archie was already out with Elizabeth - and to settle down for the kick off. Both games were excellent, though not a Scotland win, sadly.
Elizabeth and Archie went to visit Auntie Helen. In this photo, Elizabeth had just got up from her seat, and cheeky Archie popped on to it!
JR arrived home with a new, half price (bargain) Le Creuset red whistling kettle. Apparently our current red whistling kettle (not Le Creuset) is ‘wearing out’…
