Doing The Splits

Ooyah that sounds painful lol thankfully it wasn't me with splayed legs but me splitting my train from one to two you could kinda say it was a bog off day buy one get one free so this is the shot after splitting my train in two I went into one of the intermediate cabs put my key in to initialise the driving desk pushed the uncouple button whilst in neutral which disconnects the electrical boxes and they pull back and the Flaps close then I put it in reverse and with a small Tug of my power handle I eased the Head out of the other coupler job done Simples, and then it was a trip to Newcastle with another delay of 30 minutes due to a points failure at Belford and a problem at Wooden Gates level crossing but the return journey went smoothly and my brother was my train manager for both trips so it was nice to have a chinwag with him during our break at Newcastle and it was another fine day over the East Coast as well which made it all the more enjoyable I guess I'm lucky that I have an office window with stunning views and movie for the day is "Split Decisions 1988"
