First Stop... Prison

And so I set to showing Mum and James around my life here. Two important stops involved the prison and the patisserie.

Started the day with the amazing seconde that Nelly has, it's disheartening because they are almost certainly much better in English than I am in French and they're only 15! Those kids are frighteningly clever.

Came back home for lunch and a wander around town. Left the fam exploring the park whilst I went to teach in the prison. Had a new prisoner who seemed a little bored. We did play number bingo for an hour - bound to be boring I guess.

A trip to the patisserie revived the situation. My favourite lady was there and she gave us some free chocolates and cakes which was so very kind of her. It's kindness like this I'm going to miss in England.

After snacking we visited to the supermarket, which is a day out in itself. Home for cooking and catching up.
