Oh, What a Beautiful Day
Sunny and mild, high of 66 deg F with forecasted low of 49 deg F. Parker’s team had a great game last night. Jamie let his third string play much of the game and they still won 35-5. Hubby had to pick up our grocery order by 8:00 am so we had an early day. There are rumors our truckers may protest also so we stocked up on staples. Prices of everything are rising, we will be ahead either way. I tidied up, finally made the sausage and kale soup and put the piles of groceries away. Hubby bought this colorful bouquet for our table. I so miss having gorgeous blooms in the gardens; these have warmed my heart. The road salt has coated the garage floor which concerned me about tracking it inside so hubby mopped it. What an improvement. He needs a new laptop and spent time on line and at local stores researching what’s available but did not find anything. It was so pleasant outside, I pruned the butterfly bushes and read for awhile on the porch. We’re ready to start the weekend on the recliners. May you find time to relax also. We had 71 new COVID cases and a friend is critically ill due to this terrible pandemic. So tired of it. Really glad you enjoyed the hot ride, much better than my back up blip. “Open the bloom of your heart and become a gift of beauty to the world.”– Bryant McGill
